Let’s get to know each other a bit…

hey! I’m annika!

If you would’ve asked my childhood self what I want to be when I grow up, I would’ve enthusiastically stated that I was going to be a pop star. Though I’m no Chappell Roan, the passion I’ve found for theatre fuels that childhood fire.

Theatre found me in college when I true felt lost. I had just transferred schools to be closer to home and was looking for things that brought me joy. This ultimately brought me back to theatre. I enrolled in a production class and as time went on, I became more involved with the department and felt a spark ignite in me.

I graduated Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Seattle Pacific University in 2022 and am expected to graduate this coming fall with my Master of Arts in Theatre Directing from the University of East Anglia.

Now back in Seattle, I am gearing up to move to New York City this coming spring to expand my artistry!

  • whatever you need! I'm a big proponent of saying "yes" - even if I don't know exactly what the "yes" entails.

    Saying "yes" has led me to mostly directing and stage management, but I've also dabbled in props design, production design, performance, and casting.

  • I feel like I'm already doing it! Making and creating theatre! But … if we want to get technical about it… I ultimately would like to focus on directing, specifically with new and unseen works. Stories that have yet to be told, but are screaming to be heard.

  • If you catch me before noon, you’ll probably see me with a Mint Yerbe Mate in my hand. I love iced tea and crisp green grapes. I love the first read thru of a script with a cast and bringing some time of treats during tech. My favorite colors are green and purple (if you couldn’t already tell) and my favorite way of commuting is via Lime scooter.
